The option PPI improves the basic properties of the LT 24 K and can allow working with higher fleet angle (1°30 < α < 4°30).

Rotation Resistant Rope (LT = Low Torque)

The LT 24 K and LT 24 K PPI ropes have 12 outer strands and can replace all the traditional 19x19 or 18x7 ropes, achieving a far better performance thanks to their Warrington core design. Both LT 24 K and LT 24 K PPI are classified as Category 2 wire ropes.

Their properties lead the LT 24 K and LT 24 K PPI to be used in other applications than tower cranes or mobile cranes, such as overhead cranes (when height can be critical) or luffing wire (when the distance between the sheaves is important).

It can prevent or eliminate the block twisting effect.

LT 24 K PPI should be considered when higher performance and greater endurance is desired

Applications:

Tower cranes, all marine and offshore cranes when rotation resistance is required.
Recommended for intensive use and severe hoist applications where rotation resistance property is required.

LT 24 K and LT 24 PPI can be used with a swivel with a minimum of 2 falls.
Cannot be used with a single fall (with or without a swivel).
