Main Properties

Non-rotational: NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift share similar special geometrical design characteristics. The unique design of both special wire ropes exhibit excellent non rotating properties, and both are classified as Category 1 non rotating steel wire ropes.

Safety: NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift both share a similar core arraignment , or construction of the Warrington type. Warrington core construction is employed in both NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift which leads to more linear contact of the strands in the rope’s core, therefore avoiding internal cross nicking, which results in protecting the rope from internal deterioration.

Applications:

NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift are suitable for use as main and auxiliary hoist ropes for:

  • Tower Cranes
  • Mobile and Crawler Cranes
  • Ships Cranes
  • Drilling Machines – Kelly Lines
  • Other application specific high performance lifting devices

NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift are used primarily when high non rotating properties along with high MBL’s are required or desired.

Optional Plastic Protected Impregnated (PPI) core recommended for offshore, deck cranes and marine environment.

  • Special rope design geometry minimizes internal degradation and wear of the rope’s core.
  • When used with steel sheaves the rope’s discard criteria will be achieved externally, therefore favoring visual inspection.

  • Non rotating construction with 15 outer strands.
  • All strands compacted.
  • Lang’s lay flexible hoist rope.
