Main Properties

Non-rotational: NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift share similar special geometrical design characteristics. The unique design of both special wire ropes exhibit excellent non rotating properties, and both are classified as Category 1 non rotating steel wire ropes.

Safety: NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift both share a similar core arraignment , or construction of the Warrington type. Warrington core construction is employed in both NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift which leads to more linear contact of the strands in the rope’s core, therefore avoiding internal cross nicking, which results in protecting the rope from internal deterioration.

NR Maxipact and NR Maxilift are suitable for use as main and auxiliary hoist ropes for:

NR MAXIPACT Non rotating construction with 18 outer strands. All strands compacted. Lang’s lay very flexible hoist rope. Galvanized wires. Fully lubricated (internal and external). Extremely high breaking load. Special rope design optimizes the non rotating properties. Special rope design geometry minimizes internal degradation and wear of the rope’s core. When used with steel sheaves the rope’s discard criteria will be achieved externally, therefore favoring visual inspection. Optional PPI (plastic protected impregnated) core for extreme operating conditions and extended service life.

NR MAXILIFT Non rotating construction with 15 outer strands. All strands compacted. Lang’s lay flexible hoist rope. Galvanized wires Fully lubricated (internal and external). High breaking load. Special rope design optimizes the non rotating properties. Special rope design geometry minimizes internal degradation and wear of the rope’s core. When used over steel sheaves the rope’s discard criteria will be achieved externally, therefore favoring visual inspection. Optional PPI (Plastic Protected Impregnated) core for extreme operating conditions and extended service life.
